Insomnia, my mind won’t rest.
I close my eyes and my heart beats fast with anxiety.
I’m fearful of sleep.
Those wasted hours make me feel guilty.
The divide between reality and dreams is gone.
I no longer know which side I’m on.

The walls are closing in, I’m trapped and I can’t breathe.
It’s claustrophobia inside my own head.
